I know these posts are quite common place at the moment, but in my experience the people who post them very rarely follow through on what they are saying when they are presented with the opportunity to help.

I have some very dear girlfriends going through incredibly tough times at the moment and as you all know, I myself am a good companion of the black dog that is mental illness.

Not to toot my own horn but *beep beep*

I have quite a few people who since I have started my blog have reached out to me daily, weekly or just whenever they need it and while some people think it is a burden I don't need and I should focus on myself, for some reason I have been blessed with the ability to be a bloody tip top crisis coordinator.

It doesn't matter if I can't relate (except I nearly always do) but I want to reiterate again and again to those that need it, I am here for whatever you need.

You can rant to me incoherently and extensively swear your fucking brains out and then I'll make your doctors appointments, I'll talk to your parents because you're too embarrassed to open up to them because they may be of generation where mental health issues were just solved by 'getting over it.'

On the flip side, I couldn't look after my own health right now if you paid me, I might take a little while to reply if I am having a bad day, but be sure it's not because you're a burden or I don't want to talk to you, it is purely because I'm either mentally or physically not in the best shape and do need to try and work on my own shit (one day at a time) So, if you know me, or you don't, hit me up because you are not alone.
